I am actually in the process of redesigning this piece... it's a portrait study that we had to include a bug some how. It didn't end well. I will post the new version once i am finished!
This piece was awfully time consuming! It is a collaged piece of my sister slightly altered with trace amounts of pastel and water colors.
Done with black and white charcoal along with graphite. VERY hard to do and well worth it, it is a a very nice breadth piece.
A mixture of pastels, white charcoal, masking tape, and collaged magazines.
This was a four part series that was or first project in AP 2D art. It was intimidating to say the least. All of these pieces are different views and angles of the same still life.
This was the first piece of a series done of a still life. Solely graphite.
This piece (on right) is the second of the series, a blind contour that I colored in with pastels.
My third artwork was only a partial blind contour that I colored with Sharpies.
My final piece was complted using black and red ink pens, water colors, and pastels. This is probably my favorite of the series.
For this project, we had to take an image and color it so it would be a painting. I hated my finished project (the smallest tiger at the bottom right) because it was boring and flat. So I made some zoomed in views and distorted the colors a little bit to make it more complete. I'm very excited about how it came out!
